SYLVIA GOODEVE

Sylvia started learning piano at the age of five and attained her Grade X Royal Conservatory of Music before graduating from University of Waterloo with a B. Math in Computer Science.


She has performed in various ensembles for special events such as vernissages, book launches, weddings, banquets and house concerts.

REIKO LOKKER

Reiko graduated from Carleton University with an MA in Religion and Public Life and a minor in Music. Starting the violin at the age of five, she has performed with several ensembles and orchestras in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa and Tokyo.


She is a private violin teacher and a performer.

PATRICK KLINE

Patrick is a retired elementary school teacher and the founding father of the Strings of St John's. 


A graduate of the Canterbury School of Arts, Patrick has performed on cello and bass with many local groups including the Ottawa Youth Orchestra, University of Ottawa Symphony, Strings of St John's, and Ottawa Chamber Orchestra.

"New Life" Labyrinth Walk

Sylvia Goodeve, pianist, and Patrick Kline, cellist, will provide musical ambience for this guided labyrinth walk, with classical and contemporary music fitting with the theme "New Life".

Sylvia Goodeve will provide musical ambience for this guided labyrinth walk on solo piano, with pieces by Arvo Pärt, Frédéric Chopin, Michael Jones, Eric Satie.
